On Wednesday, June 15th, under a beautiful sunny sky, NCHS graduates listened to witty and poignant speeches about the future while awaiting the awarding of their diplomas. Our two seniors, Brian MacCalla and Chris Roman, were amongst those waiting for the culmination of their four years of hard work. Chris and Brian joined NCHS and the ABC program as fresh-faced teenagers and leave us as wise seniors ready to take on all the challenges of college. Chris will be attending Bentley University in MA and Brian will attend Elon in NC. They have made an important contribution to the program, the school, and the town and the ABC Board, their Host Families, and the entire ABC community wish Brian and Chris well as they pursue “a better chance”.
